MEICA engineering

Byzak’s in-house division has extensive capability for MEICA projects – mechanical, electrical and process engineering with associated instrumentation and control.  This capability covers assessment, design, construction, commissioning, optimisation and final handover. The Byzak project team takes care to understand our clients’ requirements so that correct solutions are engineered from the outset. Work portfolios range from small replacement installations to extensive bespoke MEICA design, construction and commissioning packages.

Dedicated management teams are assigned to a project from the outset to provide seamless continuity through the phases of design, construction, commissioning and handover. Design teams are selected according to work type and experience.  Byzak has specialist skills in fields including pumping installations, DSEAR, Telemetry, Automation, Chemical Dosing, Odour Control and Turbidity.

Installation teams are selected from trained, in-house site-based personnel working under the direction of qualified site supervisors. Following installation works, Byzak commissioning teams apply rigorous testing and commissioning procedures, which include optimisation of the complete installation. Before final handover, operator training is undertaken, and operation and maintenance documentation are provided.
