(SHE) Safety, Health and Environment

Byzak's Safety, Health and Environmental management systems have been fully integrated and are administered by Byzak's specialist and professionally qualified SHE Department. We recognise that our activities have health, safety and environmental implications. Managing these criteria is a top priority issue for the company - whether this relates to our staff, our clients, the public or the environment.

Byzak's Health and Safety Management Systems are certified to OHSAS 18001. Our health and safety objectives given in the Policy Statement are:
● To promote the health, safety and welfare of our employees and others affected by our activities
● To provide adequate resources for planning and implementation of management systems
● To demonstrate high priority and commitment throughout the company
● To establish effective communications for implementation, monitoring and reviews.

Projects are carried out under integrated Safety and Environmental management systems certified to ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. These include management programmes for promoting continual improvements and green procurement. Systems are in place for management of invasive plants, contaminated ground, noise and vibration monitoring, community relations and site security.
